Jacqueline Yu is a soprano currently studying for her masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the tutelage of Judith Howarth.
In constant demand both as a soloist and in the chorus, she has made various appearances around the world. She has starred as Fantine in a Les Misérables concert in Hong Kong, sung as one of the principals with Latvian National Opera Orchestra and appeared as the soprano soloist at Handel's Messiah in Maldon under the baton of Colin Baldy.
Recent opera highlights include Musetta in La Boheme with RCS Opera Scenes and Second Woman in Dido and Aeneas with Surrey Opera. Upcoming engagements include Charlotte in A Little Night Music and Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos with VoiceArc in Edinburgh.
